Are You 23? Never has a question piqued so much interest among fans of grim-grinning ghosts, delusional space rangers and musically gifted high-school kids who are "all in this together."
On March 10, The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) unveiled D23 The Official Community for Disney Fans. Paying homage to 1923, the year the Company was founded, D23 aims to give fans unprecedented access to all things Disney.
"Disney fans, including many of our own Cast Members, are the reason we thrived and grown over time," said Bob Iger, president and CEO of The Walt Disney Company. "Generation after generation, you've welcomed Disney into your hearts and homes. You carry on our traditions and stories as you share them with your children, grandchildren, friends and families. For that, we couldn't be more grateful."
Showing that gratitude is the job of a team led by Steven Clark, head of The Walt Disney Company's D23. "We want to introduce our fans to the amazing, talented people in front of and behind the cameras and construction walls that make Disney the special place that it is," Steven said. "And when we say it's made for you and me,' we mean it because we're sharing with you exactly what we'd want to see."

- Disney twenty-three, the club's quarterly member magazine.
- D23 Web site at www.disney.com/D23. This site builds on the content of Disney twenty-three, with an ever-evolving dose of Disney. Site surfers will find Disney press releases in "News and Features," historical materials in the "Walt Disney Archives," buzz worthy notes in "The Twilight Bark,"- a reference to 101 Dalmatians - and more.

Conceived as the largest single gathering of all things Disney, the D23 Expo - The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience - will be held this fall at the Anaheim Convention Center near the Disneyland Resort. The largest and most impressive Disney fan gathering ever, the expo will include keynote speakers, celebrity appearances, presentations by filmmakers of upcoming Walt Disney Pictures movies, a look at new projects from Walt Disney Imagineering, film screenings, fashion shows, gallery showings, artist and author signings, and fantastic interactive experiences.
